Brookings Parks & Gardens
The well-hidden park offers year round access to the beach, wildlife watching, fishing and swimming. Restrooms are on-site.
The corridor is a 12-mile forested park where people can picnic, boat, fish, swim, bird and mammal watch, hike or take an interpretive tour. Restrooms are on-site.
Loeb State Park encompasses 320 acres and offers a first-come-first-served campground with 48 electrical sites and three rustic cabins. Hiking, swimming, fishing and rafting are popular activities. Oregon myrtle trees can be seen on the banks of the Chetco River in this park. Myrtle trees are exclusive to select areas in Oregon and California.
Crissey Field is a solitary place, great for bird and wildlife watching, swimming, boating, fishing and walking.
The park is home to the largest island off the Oregon coast, which is a National Wildlife Sanctuary and breeding site for rare birds. The park also features campsites for RVs and tents, some with full hookups.
